Reminder : Mind Your Belongings

As all of us are aware, the last semester for session 2011/2012 is approaching its end. We presume that many of us are really making our best efforts for the final exam. However, as we're 'drown' in the enthusiasm of studying for the exam, we may lack of our vital attention to our belongings.

It's so happened that many cases, for instance loss of laptops and cell phones, occurred during the end-of-semester-approaching period. Hence, we shall address you some of vital reminders, especially on your belongings.

1. Don't leave your belongings unattended

- Make sure that all your belongings are in your full awareness and surveillance. Always keep your things safe. If you have to leave it for something else, please pack up and take your belongings with you. Or else, keep it in your very safe place -

2. Always lock your room door / locker

- Things get really easy to lost when it's so happened that your belongings are put in an open place, or we might call it as 'public properties'. So, make sure you lock your room door before you go to sleep and mind to lock your locker securely -

3. Together to remind

- Remind your roommates to watch over your things. Don't let other people who you are not really know to simply enter your room. We might 'husnu az-zhon' in this case, yet we shall also be aware and careful at all time -

InsyaAllah, when we do our part in keeping our belongings safe, Allah will help us too in keeping us safe.

Mahallah Vacation and New Semester Registration

Semester 3 of the session 2011/2012 is approaching its end. With final exam is just around the corner, we have less than 3 weeks to finish off the session. Hence, we would like to make some reminders on these particulars :

1. Pre-booking roommates session
2. Signing out and key return
3. Live In during Vacation
4. Clearance of Summons
5. Mahallah Registration for Semester 1, 2012/2013

RESIDENTIAL MANAGEMENT & DISCIPLINE DEPARTMENT (RMDD)

CENTRE FOR FOUNDATION STUDIES

IMPORTANT DATES OF MAHALLAH VACATION AND REGISTRATION

(SEMESTER VACATION : 15^th May 2012 – 10^th June 2012)

DATE AND EVENT	PARTICULARS
2nd May (Wed)  - 10th May 2012 (Thu)	i.     Forms for Pre- booking roommates for Sem 1, 2012/2013 will be available at Mahallah Office.
15th May 2012 (Tuesday) Last date to check out/ sign out  and return room keys.	i.     Students must check-out and return key in person (DURING OFFICE HOURS ONLY)    ii.     Those who had finished their exam may check-out earlier than the date mentioned.   iii.     Those who intend to go back during weekend, must check-out on Friday and may keep the key on borrowing basis.  The borrowed key must be put in the envelope and dropped into the DROP KEY BOX provided in-front of Mahallah Office. A maximum of RM50.00 penalty will be imposed to those who failed to return the keys.   iv.     Those who want to go home after office hours on weekdays are to follow the same procedure (iii) above, as long as you do check-out earlier.     v.     All students must evacuate their rooms and all rooms must be left clean and tidy. A maximum penalty of RM50.00 will be imposed to each occupants who failed to do so.
12th May 2012 (Saturday) Last date to apply for Live In during Vacation (LIDV)	i.     Students who are to Live In During Vacation (LIDV), (*only students with certification/sanctioned activities  from authorities) are required fill in the LIDV  form and register at  the Mahallah Office.    ii.     Those who Live In During Vacation (LIDV) without permission will be imposed a maximum penalty of RM50.00.
15th May 2012 (Tuesday) Last date for Clearance of summon	i.     Your result might be withheld, if you fail to pay the fine.
10th June – 12th June 2012 (Sunday – Tuesday) 9.00 am – 5.00 pm Mahallah Registration for Semester 1, 2012/2013	i.     Please produce your matric card and overnight card during  mahallah registration and check-in / sign in for Sem 1, 2012/2013. Students have to be in proper dress code. (Please adhere to the time mentioned)    ii.     Those who failed to register within the stipulated dates, a maximum penalty of RM50.00 will be imposed.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. Students are not allowed to keep their belongings in the locker or anywhere in the Mahallah during the vacation.  The CFS and Mahallah office will not be responsible for any loss/damage of your personal belongings.

2. Before you leave for vacation, make sure your room is cleaned, all windows are closed and the light, fan and plug points are switched off. Summon will be imposed for those who failed to follow the instruction given.

3. All offences mentioned above are in accordance with the procedure in Mahallah Standing Order

Rules 34 of Students’ Discipline Rules 2004 , (Amendment 2006).

Examination!

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

Assalamualaikum our brothers and sisters! Hope you are all in the pink of health and with the bless from Allah, we shall express our greatest gratitude to HIM. Final exam is just around the corner. We have approximately one more week to go to face this coming final semester exam for the session 2011/2012.

Just a bit of reminders to share together.

1. Maintain a good health

:: Make sure you are in a good shape to face the exam. Don't push yourselves so hardly when revising things. You just need to relax and calm. Doing things so harshly isn't the right thing to do, is it? You can burn your midnight oil, yet your health is the ultimate 'X' factor that make yourselves confident. Get a good rest and live your life ::

2. Use your time wisely

:: Some people are very convenient to study at the eleventh hour. Yet, you have to remember. Not everything at the very last minute is very wise. Hence, use your precious time smartly. ::

3. Du'a

:: Du'a is our strongest weapon. Don't forget to make a du'a for yourselves and others. Be kind to people. InsyaAllah, Allah will help you ::

We, MRCMAB would like to wish all of you the best of luck in your final examination. Bittawfiq wannajah!

MAB Futsal Carnival

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

Kaifa hal bro & sis? InsyaAllah kullu antum bikhair. It was the third week in a row we, MRCMAB has scheduled interactive activities for the mahallah residents. Alhamdulillah.

This time around, MAB Futsal Carnival was held on the 15th April 2012, whereby the event took it place at CFSIIUM Sports Center. 20 excellent futsal teams that MAB has ever had compete to be the unbeatable team in the quest to be the champion of the Principal's Cup. The matches started at 9.00 a.m for the groups.

The participants in each team showed the best of their zealous sports spirit. The cheers, the slight injury, the sweat, the heat from the morning shines. All protruded at the best manner. The quarter, semi and final rounds continued to rumble the joy of the day after Zuhr' prayer. 8 teams fought at these rounds. Though it was roars here and there in the sky, they seemed 'drown' in the match they dealing with. All matches ceased at 5.45 pm and followed by the closing ceremony at MUK lobby area. Alhamdulillah.

MAB Slaughtering Course

bismillahirrahmanirrahim..

Alhamdulillah. On the 7th April 2012, MRCMAB had organized an intra-mahallah programme, named MAB Slaughtering Course. This time occasion aimed the residents of the mahallah to gain more knowledge on the practical method of slaughtering aside from only theories we learned. 

The slaughtering took its place at Mahallah Fatimah Az-Zahrah (credit to Sir Taifunisyam for permitting us to throw our 'party' at MFZ) at 9 in the morning. As 50 chickens were waiting for to be slaughtered, the participants and committees were also preparing themselves for this cause. 'Rewang', sharpening knives and all sorts of things. Principal of MAB, Ust Hasanul Basri was in charged in giving all of us the briefing on the slaughtering processes. Alhamdulillah, all went very well.

In the evening, the BBQ session started off with the rain pour quite heavily. Yet, the event went good as the BBQ session was carried out under the roof. At night, a closing ceremony was held. To be precise, the ceremony was meant for the closing of three intra-mahallah programmes, which were MAB Short Film Contest, Mahallati Jannati and MAB Slaughtering Course. The night was tremendous with mouth-watering delicacies and 'fog' of the BBQ-ed chickens filled up the environment.
