T&C Week Hits CFS IIUM!!

With pleasure, we would like to bring you a festal event, namely TRADITIONAL & CULTURAL WEEK (T&C) 2012, specially brought to you by all Mahallah Representative Committee (MRC) of CFS IIUM. This programme aims to accentuate the value of traditional and cultural of Malaysian among the students in the current modern era.

Our approach by organizing this programme will live up the worthy traditions that have been preserved since the old times in each and every students of CFS IIUM. And indirectly, this programme exposes and introduces our culture to our foreign brothers and sisters.

SO, WHAT IS SO EXCITING ABOUT T&C 2012?

Here, we bring you our agenda throughout the week.

1. CARNIVAL
Date : 25th - 31st March 2012
Venue : In front of Mahallah Khadijah & Mahallah Umar Al-Khattab

WHAT AWAITS YOU THERE??

Food, beverages, books, gadgets, clothes, and so many more... Come and merry up the event.

2. CHARITY CONCERT
Date : 29th March 2012
Venue : Al-Malik Faisal Hall

WHAT WILL BE THE PERFORMANCES THAT NIGHT??

Dikir Barat, Caklempong, Marhaban, Qasidah, Zapin. SPECIAL PERFORMANCE from : Saujana, Du'a and UNIC.

HOW ABOUT THE ENTRANCE FEE??

Specially for students of CFS IIUM, we only charge you as low as RM 5.00 per head. And one thing you have to know, SEATS ARE LIMITED!! So, what are you waiting for, grab your 5 bucks and get a ticket for yourselves at our booth in front of IRKHS building. Easy to find rite??

3. SUKANEKA RAKYAT
Date : 31st March 2012
Venue : CFS IIUM Field

There are many traditional games that you are surely longing for to play. We serve you games like Tug of War, Tarik Upih, Baling Selipar, Galah Panjang, Batu Seremban, Ceper, Congkak, Lari Kaki Tempurung and many more.. Not to forget, we will also be organizing Futsal Kain Sarung.

AND WHY SHOULD I JOIN THIS EVENT??

You will not have the chance to play these games against fellows and your foreigner friends in any other events before this. YEAH!! They'll be joining these. So, show us your traditional skills and prove us your cultural spirit. Go to our booth and sign up before it's TOO LATE!!

FEE??

No FEE will be charged, my brothers and sisters. It's all free for you to join. And no worries as we will provide you some refreshments.

Cambodia 2012 : Shaping A Milestone Towards A Better Community

Mahallah Representative Committe (MRC) of CFSIIUM session 2011/2012 will be conducting an international community service at Madrasah Darul Ulum, Kampung Darul Ulum, Brai Kop, Poi Pet, Cambodia on the 24th to 28th May 2012. This 3rd sequel of MRC international programmes brings a new light of hope for the Cambodian, at the particular Muslim area, to pursuit a better educational facility. This time around of MRC mega project aims for the finishing of Ibnu Khaldun Library's construction ultimately for easing the Cambodian learning processes.

Their unfortunate rural areas are in-need of our help, especially for the little ones, as they are developing to be a better knowledgeable Muslims. Unlike ours, their facilities and homes are not comfort and complete enough for gaining knowledge. So, help us to help them! A little penny of yours brings a million of hopes and love towards the Cambodian. Let's help them, our brothers and sisters there. They need our help! We might not have the chance to meet and help them directly, yet Allah knows our heart and let's lend our hands to help in monetary aspects.

2. Donation box will be lingering in every occasion conducted by MRC and InsyaAllah, by all societies. So, DO donate in every occasion. =)

3. Fill in the donation form distributed (or that will be distributed) and relay your donations to MRC members or to the Mahallah Office.
